IMS Research Careers

Opportunities arise frequently for talented and motivated individuals to join IMS Research’s growing team of analysts and business development staff. Both our European and North American offices recruit a wide range of personnel from “industry experts” with many years of experience behind them, to new graduates just out of university/college.

Why work for IMS Research?

IMS Research is an established force in the provision of information, analysis and consulting services to the high technology electronics industry. Over the last 15 years we have built an enviable reputation for providing detailed, quality research and this has enabled IMS Research to grow rapidly. Despite the electronics industry downturn, revenues rose more than 30% in our last financial year.

Employees travel widely to visit our global client base, which includes major corporations such as Ericsson, GM, Hitachi, IBM, Intel, Mitsubishi, Motorola, Nokia, Philips, STMicroelectronics, Samsung, Siemens, Sony, Texas Instruments, Toshiba and VW.

IMS Research maintains a salary structure that is merit-based, operating a performance/ review system that aims both to reward high achievement and improve the performance of all employees.

Other benefits include:
Profit sharing
Contributory pension / 401K plans
22-25 days holiday (Europe); 14-17 days (USA) - plus statutory days
Paid maternity & paternity leave
Medical Coverage (USA)
Paid short-term sickness absence & contribution to long term cover
Employee recognition programme
Financial assistance with personal training and development
Well developed and structured company training programme
Opportunities to travel widely
Exposure to senior management

Although we aggressively pursue our growth goals and other business targets, we do not lose sight of the fact that our staff have a life outside the work environment. A relaxed and friendly working environment also ensures that all employees are made to feel part of a successful and supportive team.

Training and Development

IMS Research takes the training and personal development of all employees very seriously. The training needs of new recruits are immediately identified and a program put in place to improve their skills through a combination of on-the-job coaching, internal training sessions and external courses. This dedicated programme is combined at the outset with work on real projects with real customers.

IMS Research has found that this approach enables new recruits to quickly build up their effectiveness, contribute to the growth of the company and enhance their value to the organisation.
