Our strong relationship with the semiconductor industry has lead to an evolution of our equipment product offerings by introducing dedicated semiconductor analyses that quantify demand for a broad array of semiconductor types used in a specific equipment type. These analyses draw extensively on the data produced by our dedicated equipment groups, enabling us to evaluate current and future demand for semiconductors more accurately in these areas.

We engage with key design engineers at the equipment suppliers themselves, enabling us to build-up a comprehensive understanding of the current and future bill of materials for different equipment designs.

The research areas addressed are diverse, ranging from set-top boxes and TVs in the consumer electronics market to the total opportunity for different semiconductor types in the whole industrial segment. Our goal is to continue to measure semiconductor demand by equipment; which, coupled with our understanding of the semiconductor markets derived from our dedicated semiconductor reports, will enable us to deliver a clear picture of both component supply and demand in the different equipment markets.
